Our Philosophy
To provide a very high standard of financial care and advice to our clients over the long term. We value strong client relationships above all else and make sure that we never embark on labour intensive work for some clients to the detriment of others by ensuring that we maintain a manageable clientele. Clients are deemed to be clients of the practice rather than the individual adviser and often both Peter and Estelle work on the same client's requirements simultaneously, having complementary skills.
We believe strongly in listening and responding to our client's needs rather than presenting them with the latest "flavour of the month" investment plan. We believe that the key to a client's future financial wellbeing is through sound financial planning whereby we carefully evaluate their goals and aspirations and compile a plan, which is capable of working in practice not just in theory.
We much prefer to be paid fees for our advice rather than being paid by product providers (via commission) for simply arranging transactions, but the client always has the choice in this respect.
We believe that we should concentrate on what we do best and outsource advice which we feel others should provide. Thus, we refer clients to specialists who advise on such matters as arranging mortgages, private medical insurance, long term care and especially the arranging of Wills. In this latter respect, we have a close working relationship with local solicitors who are specialists in inheritance tax planning in connection with Wills.
